Who will Norman cover?

Not saying anything new here, but Norman, unlike Sherman, has typically matched up against the other team's #1. This week got me thinking, though. Do you guys expect Norman to shadow Cobb given that he typically plays out of the slot? Jones? Mixed bag?

My guess is he just stays on the left side of the defense. He's never really covered the slot and neither Jones or Adams are appreciably better than the other so they aren't worth shadowing.

Love Bene, dude scares me sometimes. Makes some great plays, sometimes he can be way behind the play.

He's struggling this year especially in the last two games. He had a lot of trouble with Jordan Matthews though the numbers don't show it due to Matthews dropping 3 or 4 balls when he was open. Then on Monday night he got burned by old ass Andre Johnson giving up 6/7 for 89 yards and a TD.

I have noticed that he is starting to get snaps outside again playing basically the same role that Captain Munnerlyn played in 2013 where he plays outside in the base subbing out Tillman and moves into the slot when we are in nickel. I think he needs to move outside full time after this year. We don't really have anyone else who can play slot CB except Colin Jones.

The matchup against Cobb worries me a great deal.

We we need to do is not give GB free plays.  They have cashed in on lobbing free balls wildly downfield on offsides this year.  Wouldn't have 6 wins without it IMO

So true. Our defensive front is going to need every ounce of discipline they can muster. Aaron Rodgers is a master of the hard count and if he gets a guy to jump they WILL snap the ball so he can take a shot down the field. They're incredibly successful at that as you pointed out.

Add in Delaire to that mix and we could give them a few opportunities. Delaire is so quick off the ball that Rodgers could catch him.
