In all the excitement, this can't be forgotten

I actually missed this game because of the Army. First one all season. But I felt like they don't need me pulling for them...they're pulling for the true heroes.

My stance has always been, I'm thanked too much for my service. The soldiers that deserve recognition are the ones that can't say thank you back. Veterans Day is for us. Memorial Day is for them.

Memorial Day > Veterans Day

I don't think it's possible to be thanked too much. I just appreciate the public support we have now because it was totally different environment for the Vietnam vets. I wish more had thanked them for their service....

Very true. I'd much rather be over appreciated than under appreciated. Of course the draft has a lot to do with individual servicemen wanting to be there but that's a discussion for the tinderbox. :)

The ovation the families received from the fans (happened during the break after the 1st qtr) was awesome.  It went on forever.  Don't see how there could have been a dry eye in the stadium. It was powerful.  I feel fortunate to have been there.

A friend has family in Kansas City area who are military.  They had heard about what the Panthers were doing and were super impressed. Nice to know others are paying attention.

I love this team.
