How Many Have Gone 10-0?

I feel bad for making a thread about this, but for the past half hour I''ve been trying to find out how many teams have gone 10-0, 11-0, 12-0 etc. I can't find a damn thing and I figured someone on the huddle was bound to know where to find those statistics?

Much love and pie for whoever knows!

Another thread asked about tanking to rest our starters and I pointed to the 2009 Colts that went 14-0 and clinched homefield advantage. The last two games they sat their starters vs. NY Jets and at Buffalo and lost both games, eventually losing to the Taints in the SuperBowl.

Didn't Marty Schottenhimer get the Chargers to 14-0?

then get fired after getting bounced in the playoffs?

No, he did get the Chargers to finish on a 10 game win streak after a 4-2 start in 2006. Good coach for the regular season at 200-126, horrible for the playoffs at 5-13.

His replacement Norv Turner got the Chargers to finish on an 11 game win streak after a 2-3 start in 2009. Best I can find.

    • As much as I would love to sit here and bash on Young.  I can't.   He is absolutely a part of this team winning.  He is the cool hand leading the offense along with the hammer, Rico.  He's making plays on 3rd and 4th downs, that are absolutely helping thus team win.  Is Bryce playing as well as we'd like? Nope. Although he had only 1 week off from a high ankle sprain.   No question he was 100% in the Greenbay game.  I'm not even sure where the team would find a clear upgrade over Byrce.  He is a leader.  In the 4th quarter, he has ice in his veins.  He is a part of why our team is enjoyable to watch again.  Without him, we wouldn't be winning.    Anyways.  Y'all enjoy yet another thread designed to tear down the man.
    • Great article on all the Lil Canes attending their debutantes ball. Walt with a great breakdown of all the rookies, as always, and I'm a huge fan of his team coverage, he is truly a treasure, but as a fan of mixed metaphors and superfluous language which some might ignorantly refer to as a "run-on sentence" I never really understood what that mean or where to put the comma after a quote in the middle of a sentence, but holy poo Walt, this is a gem, "While there's a long road left in front of them left to determine whether or not they'll have that same success on the blue line again, the beginning stretch of the journey has been thrown a wrench, and the story on defense has been the emergence of up-and-comers forced into becoming lineup regulars." , bravo, take a bow, sir!
    • How do I activate said Krispy Kreme deal? I'm stoned man you can't be playing with me about this...
