To 15 1/2 years in prison...

Former Subway sandwich chain pitchman Jared Fogle on Thursday was sentenced to 15-1/2 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to child pornography and sex charges.

I'm not sure what the minimum sentence is, but good riddance.

This wasn't a case where someone's fame led them to a sorry end. Fogle has apparently been walking toward or down this path since his days back in college. There's no telling how big of a part he was in the festering disease that creates and distributes child pornography and creates situations for molesters.

What will now most likely befall him I wouldn't wish on a soul. But as a father of two children, I'll sleep a bit better at night knowing at least one predator is behind bars.

I promise you that rape is the least of his worries. Homies take that child abuse serious in the pen. He's gonna get beat down daily. They'd be afraid he'd enjoy the sex. So its gonna be size 12 boots in his ass instead. If he makes more than 2 years I'll be shocked. I guess it would be more humane to just give him the needle? Cause he's got a death sentence once he goes in.

    • The intro to the article talked about how they picked the teams and it wasn't just on overall career, it was a factor, but their peak ability also factored in. He 100% should be on a roster like this, because it was building the best roster from players since 2000, not the best careers during that time. And no matter how you slice it, CMC's peak ability if he could have had a long healthy career would have made him one of the best RBs of all time.  He had back to back seasons with over 1k rushing and 100 catches, with the 2nd of them also having over 1k receiving, that's wild. He's also still only 29 and I think is going to end up playing at least another 5-6 years as he's going to slowly shift into being a slot WR at some point I believe and basically become what Deebo was for the 49ers for a while.
