Yep. I lived in Centre County, PA for 9 years. That's the home of Penn State University and trust me when I say that racism is rampant in that county. One of the largest northern chapters of the KKK is based in Centre County. 

And it's not just white on black. I heard lots of counter racism from blacks, plus alot of general racism toward Hispanics and Asians too :(

As a language and culture student, that poo breaks my heart for the victims and pisses me off on their behalf
