I guess I missed it, but it appears we already beat the Saints next week, last week or yesterday.

I hope so , we'll find out in the playoffs

"Almost", doesn't bode well in the "W" column. They have a rookie CB that made the play to get them the "W"

There are no easy roads to 12-0.

I'm not a Panthers fan at all, and I dislike Cam even more, but don't lie to yourself. I think the Panthers are good but overrated and not a top 3 team in the NFL this year. That doesn't mean they aren't a really good team that has accomplished something very rare tho. Their road hasn't been easy in any way, and they could be good for a while.

Lets look at it.

JAC------ 4-6 Improved but still bad
HOU----- Bad team at 5-5
NO------- LMAO
TB-------- Better than we are if that says anything
SEA------ Great win here
PHI------- Chip Kelly is done
IND------ We beat Indy. thats should tell you something
GB------- A great win in Lambeau
TEN------Horrible Team
WAS----- The only teams they beat were teams that suck. We in that group
DAL------ Romo out for the year, week in and week out

This is who they have left
NO---- I dont care if we win , we still a bad team
ATL----- It wont matter who wins
NYG----- Could possibly beat them
ATL------- Carolina wins one of the 2
TB-------Bad team that could show up but still now win.

They beat 1 team with a winning record and thats GB. The rest on that list are not better than 5-5. Most are 4-6 and only a couple will be better than 8-8 at the end.So yea it was an easy rd to 12-0

I love the....they haven't beat teams with winning records.  Um, we are 11-0....we dictate that to a fair degree.

if our opponents had beat us....only 4 of the 11 opponents would have losing records.   5 would have winning records and 2 at .500

We also beat the top 3 seeds from the nfc last year...2 on the road.  Also the #4 seed from the afc.

Also, nice showing from the nfc east yesterday.  I must have missed that division being mocked by the national media like ours was last year.

Teams that don't have better records than the ones we've beaten have no room to talk

Out of 32 teams, only 9 have a winning record.

9

out of 32

and the Taints ain't one of 'em, ain't gonna be one of 'em, so they can shut their hole. And if they don't like it, oh well, cuz that bottom of the poo-barrel defense ain't gonna make anyone shut up.

They can talk about the draft and who their next coach will be and wring their hands about Brees. They got nothing on anything else.

I perused the Saints Report the other day. Man, you should see the hatred for Cam Newton in some of those conversations. Some of their fans won't give him an ounce of credit for what he does. I hope Carolina hangs 60 points on those jackasses.

Some of them were actually pulling for Cam go get hurt. Classless bastards.

We could beat every team in the NFL and Saint fans would still say we're not a top 3 team. If we win the SB they will say we had an easy road, or it was luck. That's just part of being a clueless Saints fan. They're one of the last fan bases in the NFL you'd look to for insight on teams.

    • Option A:  Pay your starting QB starting QB money. Option B:  Look for a starting QB for 4-10 years (or longer) while wasting the talent at every other position.    How many of the top 20 QB's do you think are worth what they are being paid?   When you factor in the last year of his present deal his contract is really an average of 45 million per year which in today's QB market is a very, very good deal. I wish we'd had found a Brock Purdy to pay 50+ million a year right after we parted ways with Cam.  Ya'll go ahead and live in fairy tale land where good to great (much less elite) QB's are available to pay. Just the fact that they had the chance to pay Brock after the disaster of trading up for Lance is a testament that when you find a quarter back you can win with, complete in the playoffs and superbowls with, you pay him.
    • They will still be a playoff team but they aren't contenders anymore IMO. They won't be able to spend like they have when they went to a SB and proved he couldn't carry a win at that level with a really good team around him. Now he is going to have to do it with less to spend around him. They just locked in to being a playoff bound team that's going to be a known speed bump for whoever will represent the NFC in the SB.
    • Hmm. I think he'll live up to it. Last year, about half of his team was on IR it seems, at one time or another. Year before, Super Bowl appearance. Year before that, playoff run after being third on the depth chart and being pressed into service. Is he one of the greatest in the game right now? Nope. No chance of that. Is he in the top 10 going into next season? Pretty good chance of that.  Would 20 or more teams in this league love to have the guy as their starting QB. Most likely so. He's a good QB who can implement his coach's game plan to a T and has both the confidence of and confidence in his teammates. That'll take you a long way in this league if you've got the right cast around you, and he does.
