So this just appeared on my facebook, it wasn't mention at all anywhere, does anyone know the story behind it?

I hope that moronic security guard gets fired and sued for what he did, even at the end of the video the Panther's fan doesn't seem to be fighting at any point to cause such kind of action.

We all saw that a few sections over. There were at least 2 fights close to us and another that almost occured right in front of us. Apparently Cowboys fans don't like it when their team gets blown out. Looks like they would be used to it

After looking at the 3 videos I just can't find a reason for that security guard to choke him. It is sad that even Cowboys fans were flipping him off while this was happening. If it hadn't been for that guy in the Chicago jersey stopping the security and holding his guns until he let him go, we don't know what would have happened.

Thank goodness for that Bears fan, pulling security's arms off the Panthers fan's neck. It might've been worse. Nice, new stadium & Cowboy fans still want to be like Eagles fans. Geez.

That was my first thought. The fan in no moment seemed to be even trying to cause a problem, even at the end he was calmly explaining the situation to the Ahole that was choking him.

And what was he doing for security to be called in the first place? I highly doubt they just walked down there and jumped him for no reason.

Dude could've been fighting fans or even swung at the security guard, but the video starts right as the security guard restrains him and everyone grabs their pitchforks.

Burn the authority now and ask questions later- or never!

It doesn't matter what he was doing, that security guard was using deadly force by choking the fan and not letting go.

according to the article, the cowboy fans lied and said he was throwing stuff on the field.

Did you check the reference? It says the article that you posted comes from the Onion which is a parody website.

I was just going to mention that it probably isn't a true story. There's this too: http://dailysnark.com/outraged-mother-writes-letter-cam-newton-td-passes-offensive/

Website is, after all, dailySNARK"dot"com. Saw reference to Total Pro Sports, "The Lighter Side of Sports"

    • Ravens mixing it up with a random Mark Andrew tush push last year isn't a similar situation.  Lamar has run QB sneaks his entire career.  And often instead of a traditional sneak will even employ a 4th and 1 direct snap to Lamar simply because of how athletic he is (which even Cam did a lot of) and let him pick his own holes.
    • height being an issue doesn't just mean batted balls.  You could argue Bryce minimizes batted balls by adopting other poor habits such as his jump passing and leaving the pocket.   As I said, there are plays you can point to where he clearly was blind to parts of the field/players....which kills plays and opportunity. Which actually means some of the shorter/hot throws when things break down are where his vision gets blocked (and he had below average production all around the line of scrimmage).   has he figured it out? I mean, he improved off a trainwreck start.  But Bryce Young since arriving in the league (even while figuring it out)......doesn't generate much offensive production vs his peers.  I just think his ceiling is low.   And that's not in the grand scheme what you want in the NFL.  I think he can develop into a serviceable QB, that will largely always been a middle of the pack or low end starter.
    • People make a lot of noise about his footwork and I think it is overblown. Whether he takes 3 steps backwards or 5 small steps doesn't matter as long as he ends up at the right depth and is in sync with  the receiver regarding timing. If he does that consistently who cares as long as he has a firm stable base as he delivers the ball. Which he does need to work on. However even that is somewhat overblown given that often QBs have to throw off balance or from different arm angles to fit the ball around defenders. He is considered very accurate so apparently it isn't hurting him that much.
