I personally like some Coldplay stuff. Not the first band I would have chosen (not in the top ten, even), but it would be the first one I'd actually watch in years. Better than the last few crappy pop acts they've thrown out.

Luke Bryan...heh.

All of the segments, halftime and everything for the Thanksgiving game seem to have been done with the expectation that the Cowboys would be winning or it would at least have been a close game. Made it all deliciously ironic when they were getting blown out.

The same thing happened in the 2003 playoff game when they had a pre recorded interview segment with Jerry Jones talking about his decision to hire Bill Parcells. Was wildly inappropriate given the score at the time they ran it.

This is very common with musicians and comedians. I was part of the App State Club that booked shows. Some of these celebrities would want a playstation with dozens of games or a precise number of apples in a glass bowl. Certain drinks or brands of cigarettes. Furniture to be a certain color or fabric. Things you would never think matter. They tried to book Ron White and he declined because they wouldn't let him drink and smoke on stage.

Sometimes the odd requests on the concert riders are there to verify that the promoter actually read the thing.

Not everything on riders are locked in stone - if something is impossible or unlikely to happen, the promoter communicates that back to the tour manager and things are typically okay.  It's when that communication doesn't happen that things can get ugly and the rider details enforced. #BeenThereDoneThat

      You're acting like Bryce put him out for the game and the week when that play happened at 4:01 in Q2. Renfrow was targeted four more times after that. Plus, a hospital ball is a poorly placed pass that puts the receiver in a dangerous position to take a big hit by being late or inaccurate.  Ball is out an on its way here. The catch is made at the 25yd line on the hash. Renfrow jumps for no reason and is airborne when he's hit. Bryce doesn't drift him over in front of the safety on the throw and as we can see from the capture that he had the right read. Could he have also waited a little longer for XL to pop up over the middle on the in route? You won't hear me disagree with that. Would have also likely netted more YAC than Renfrow would've considering positioning and momentum for both players. I like that option better than the one he took, but you're also not going to see me make 10 different threads about it like we've seen this week. 😮 Also worth noting that while Renfrow didn't need to jump for that ball that he did run a beautiful route to get open.
