PFF would consider those "drops" as "catches".  They grade Cam on how he plays not how the stats say he plays, or least that what they say they do.

That's why the grade is so high. PFF doesn't hold those against you. Their grading system is very unique.

He is referring to a play earlier in the game where he overthrew an open Ginn.

I think there was at least one play where Newton overthrew Ginn.  But it wasn't a big one.  The over throws to Brown and Olsen were far more noticeable because of how open they were. 

 

That being said, every qb has has few bad throws in a game.  Overall, Cam had a great game yesterday.

Of course you still have the naysayers who scream" but it was against N.O crappy defense". Always a caveat when it comes to Cam.....hell with em'.
