Options for watching the falcons game in hawaii

My wife and I are leaving for Hawaii later this week for a late celebration of our 5-year anniversary. I was worried about messing with the mojo three weeks ago when I left the Carolinas for a game, but then we administered a beatdown of the Redskins while I was in Denver, so as long as I have my trusty 12-0 Roaring Riot cat fight t-shirt I'm not worried about bad juju.

But I'd still like to watch the game. Any ideas? I'll be on the big island, which means less options. Do bars in Hawaii show 1pm east coast games even though that's like 7am? Are there options besides enragingly slow lagging feeds?

have fun. It's neat going out there because sports come on in the morning. We had to watch in our room.

I'd wake up, do room service and enjoy watching the game in a totally different way.

were you able to get the game on? i doubt fox is gonna broadcast panthers falcons as its game out there but i'd have to see the broadcast map i guess

We were watch March Madness. I'd never book a vacation while the Panthers are playing ;) Who does that???!!!

I just booked our ski trip, that was a pain in the ass trying to book around all the playoff weekends and school.

When we were there, it wasn't hard to find a bar with the Sunday Ticket since so many folks are transplants/tourists. It was awesome to watch football early in the morning and then have the entire day to enjoy afterward.

When I was living there I went to a bar called Kemoo Farms just outside Schofield, but that's on Oahu, not the big island. And yea, sports bars there show the early games live. Lotta places have breakfast specials for them. When I was on shift work and got off at 5am on Sunday morning me and friends always went straight to Kemoos to watch the games after work.

    • There is a Grand Canyon-sized chasm between your opinion and the opinions of most former player hockey guys who do this for a living.
    • I can only imagine the **** eating grins on the committee right now. "Oh, Bama didn't deserve it? Oh, Miami didn't deserve it? Suck it, haters!" lol
    • To say that, is gaslighting, because it isn’t true. I mean, maybe one or two people do that but it isn’t the predominant behavior. Even Frank has given him credit. I think particularly the Rams game. A couple of glowing posts.   I know I have. Gotta be honest about it because if you aren’t it undermines what else you say.  But the degree of how far I go with credit, in terms of it being a projection of future performance? Not very far. Acknowledge it, but require more of it. There is a lot of bad play to offset.    I tried to remain passive while the last 9 games (post ankle injury) played out. It is just really hard when the lows won’t go away. I failed. As high as a couple of those highs were, there isn’t enough.    I know it is premature to just say I want to move on, made my decision after 6 of those games ended up pretty much really good or not good enough, but I have had enough of being patient and letting him show the reality either way.  So in my view, he Could still validate himself to a decent degree if he smokes the last three starts. But also in my view I don’t expect to see it. Maybe one more high quality start, would be my expectation. So yes he could still somehow justify having the job next year. If that happened I still wouldn’t have much faith given the last three years and all that has transpired. Again, there is a lot of bad play to offset.
