Rich Eisen's case for Cam as MVP

Not to make this about fans or anything...but I just want to say HOLY poo it feels great to be "vindicated" in a way.  The last few years, explaining to idiots that Cam actually did have "it" and was a great QB who just had a bad OL/weapons and lacked consistency, while constantly hearing about Kaep, RG3, Luck, RW, blah blah.  It's awesome to watch people eat crow and also seeing the media fall in love with Cameron Newton like I did long ago.

Jesus Christ, I'm fired up after hearing that.  The man spoke with passion and conviction.  Meanwhile, the haters look more stupid with each passing week, holding on to their frail arguments which crumble around them, exposing the dumbass hiding behind.

It's only Monday, holy poo I'm ready for Sunday!

The best player on the best team should be MVP. That's how I've always looked at MVPs.

It'll come down to Cam and Brady and Cam is looking like the thoroughbred on our undefeated Panthers.

If we ever get Norwell back and in game-shape for this last stretch, it could go a long way in keeping Cam comfortable...Ted Ginn's drops haven't helped, but when you're scoring 5-TDs in multiple games on an undefeated team, that really looks good on a possible MVP candidate.

wouldnt be surprised to see Short making the pro bowl and possibly the All-Pro team with some DPOY votes thrown in there as well.

    • Very True--and I am a former HS English teacher.
    • Not a Moore fan-but he had a few good games last year-but I want players that scare you--Renfrow's route running and intelligence, Legette's size, speed, and strength, AT's intelligence and route running, Coker's body control, strong hands, and abilty to win contested catches, and TMac's size, body control, and ability to find soft spots in zone coverages.  Horn gives them the ability to stretch the field and he plays special teams.   Moore has a nice smile and can dance.  He filled in well last season, but to get better as a team, you have to upgrade your players.  I think Moore is a bottom of the roster guy who got bumped when we drafted 2 WRs and signed a legit free agent.  Here is the thing--TMac makes us better because he is great against the zone--man?  Good luck with that.  AT's role can be reduced, and that is probably a good thing.  He can specialize in situational football. Coker?  Just getting started. XL?  Just getting started.  Drafting TMac was probably a bit of a wake up call, but XL will be better as the 2. Renfrow?  I see him splitting reps with AT--keeping both fresh and giving different looks. Horn?  Watch the safety cheat his side when he is in the game--I see a young Steve Smith type in him, but he has yet to play a game.  I hear that Morgan loves him.
