I don't blame Ron for playing Stew. But it was really shortsighted to have rookie RBs Wheger and CAP on the roster with about 4 touches between them going into the playoffs. We should have been giving those guys touches throughout the year.

We tried that. Honestly the difference is so huge we had to stop doing that.

Not at all: none of those players have an injury history that has kept them out of most seasons of their careers. But, when we're up 21-0, 28-0, or 31-0? Yeah, those guys should rest too.

(At least Can and Luke, Gano plays very few snaps)

Looks like some of this will occur but the first half would have been premature IMO

Should not be resting Stewart or any starters without actual injuries to justify it.  But we SHOULD have at least CAP active so Stewart can take a seat once games are under control.  Fozzy ran GREAT out there today, but we know what he can do already and he already has plenty of game experience.  I wanna see CAP and Wegher out there.  At least a few touches a game.

So you are using an injury to one of our better players to try to prove that an idiotic statement you made earlier was correct?  Geez..what a fan you are.  Go become a Saints fan.

What about it is idiotic? That other guys should get more touches? Stewart has never stayed healthy. Running him more in his career than he has ever ran before is a bad idea. An obviously bad idea. In fact, Ron has said over and over in his press conferences that we need him to get less touches.
