Pro Bowl Selections - Bad Omen?

Won't get any pie for this...just hoping it's not a bad omen.

In the past twelve years, no team that has led the NFL in Pro Bowl players has gone on to win the Super Bowl. Not actual players playing; just players selected. Only three times did the team with the most selections even make the Super Bowl.

Full disclosure: all info comes from wikipedia. Verified the previous five years with news reports. Beyond that, I'm just taking wiki at face value...

Even if it's all accurate, it's just a stat, but something to discuss.

2015 - Denver - 9 (Patriots)

2014 - KC/SF - 8 (Seahawks)

2013 - Houston/SF* - 9 (Ravens)

2012 - NE*/SF - 9 (Giants)

2011 - Atlanta - 9 (Packers)

2010 - Minnesota - 10 (Saints)

2009 - Tennessee - 8 (Steelers)

2008 - Dallas - 13 (Giants)

2007 - San Diego - 11 (Colts)

2006 - Indianapolis - 7 (Steelers)

2005 - Philadelphia* - 10 (Patriots)

2004 - Kansas City - (Patriots)

*Lost Super Bowl
