Josh Norman on the Panthers next year? "Not my call."

Captain Morgan

I hope Josh Norman stays here, but keeping it real he's made himself a lot of money this season and he needs to cash in and deservingly so. we've been paying him Penuts this year and he's been arguably the best player on the Defense all season.  he needs to go get paid, even if it's not here.

Norman deserves to be paid...by tag or contract.

I hope we can get him at his current level for at least 2 more seasons.  He is great fun to watch.

If he leaves I hope he finds a good fit.  Part of being great in the NFL is fit above anything else.   He can't just go to any of the 31 other teams and be great (and that isn't a unique concept applied to him )

If he ends up being the defensive MVP for the team in the playoffs with multiple INTs and maybe a TD or two, then an extension would have to be all but guaranteed. If he just merely continues to play at the high level he has all year, then tag him and see what happens next year.

That would be my philosophy if I wore my shorts around my nipples.

10-11 mil / yr, yes.

More, see ya. Norman is good but he ain't great. He's like every other corner. Scheme helps him.

There are only so many Revis and Champ out there. Yea, exactly. Even, Nnamdi couldn't succeed with the Eagles or Whiners.

Norman should not be paid more than Sherman or PP7.

Revis also was only Revis Island for a couple years.  He isn't that anymore.

Nnamdi is a perfect example of fitting a scheme matters.  He was an elite man CB....in a zone scheme he was garbage

More concerned about KK tbh.   If he has another year like this one, that is Ndamakuh Suh level.  Our front 7 makes is our defense.   We were actually a better defense when we had Hardy.  The difference is now we are scoring points in bunches.

Keep the offensive and defensive lines tight.  Fix the secondary as best as you can.

Norman is good and needs to be paid reasonably...I love his moxi and cockiness but what part of his success is from the Dline? Gman wont get into money trouble with him, you can baleed dat sht. I can see a tag next year but im inclined to put money in the line once CJ is gone. Keep emotion out of it... he is approaching 30.
