Along the Sidelines - Divisional Playoff Victory

As always your photos encapsulate some of our greatest game day memories!  Thank you, Jeremy!

My heart was in my throat when Sherman started to horse collar JStew but was thankful he stopped trying to tackle him that way.  It was still a desparate tackle and until Stew got up - I was all clenched up and ready to whoop someone's @$$.

Greg Olsen's TD was amazing considering Cam zipped it thru, a defender's arm was entangled with Greg during the catch and he brought it in.

My two favorite defensive drives include the first drive where the DLine just dominated Seattle and sacked/hurried/harried Russell Wilson into the pick 6 by Luke. The sack by JNo was awesome even if it was a rogue play because he read that one and capitalized.  My nerves were on edge because I hate seeing our best corner leaving our safeties on an island that they don't always cover or recover when WRs get behind them in 1:1.

The zenith of the afternoon was Thomas Davis saving our season with that leap to recover the onside kick.  Get that man a statue when he retires as he is the ULTIMATE Panther and he is my co-favorite player only equal to Sam Mills.

Slow clap, Jeremy.  What an amazing season captured in photos!  Let's go and get to the promised land by beating Zona next Sunday!  #KEEPPOUNDING!!!

    • I think Indiana will win it all but Miami should give them a much better fight than Oregon did.
    • When I tell people I was at that game, they usually say oh that’s so cool you had the experience. I call it soul crushing. Why? The weeks and months leading up to it were great, the team was fun to watch every week…some weeks the offense was unstoppable and carried the team (saints and giants road games), other times the defense carried the load (jaguars, tampa). Lots of back and forth games against good teams (Seattle and Indy). Good young players on the team, but the veteran leadership was incredible…from Cam, Olsen, Kalil and J Stew to Luke, TD, Norman, Tillman, Jared Allen, CJ. Role players like Fozzy Whitaker, Cotchery (he caught that MFer), Philly brown, Kyle love, AJ Klein, and so on.  The Friday before the nfc championship my wife and I after a few drinks said let’s see what prices look like for flights/accommodations and we got to talking about how much prices would increase if we waited until we found out if we would be in the big game. We said screw it, we are only out $200 if we have to cancel.  Of course we come out and just pulverized the cardinals in front of the most raucous crowd by far we’ve ever had. We had no idea what we would do for game tickets and then found out a neighbor who worked for the team could get us 2 for face value (each employee got two of their own for free, something cool that JR did).  But then the NFL mafia decided that the storyline of manning going out on top like Elway would give them more goodwill than a non traditional QB who didn’t connect with their target demo and the rest is history. I never have and never will watch that game again. I am just hoping I can see them win one in the 2nd half of my life.
