Tailgate for Cardinals

Recommended Posts

Since my Partner and I ( USMCPanthers) cannot afford tickets and he cant afford the drive to Charlotte. I was thinking about going to the Tailgate Sunday but not attending the game. I wonder is there a Big Screen Set Up near our Tailgate spot to watch the game from the Parking Lot?  It is an Night Game... So work will suck the next morning but it should be fun. I don't like doing things without my Partner but I am hoping other Huddlers will be there to Huddle With.

I think they are working on it but in the event it is a no go, the Dilworth Grill is where everyone goes to watch I believe. Tailgate is still happening though. Someone will chime in with more info later I'm guessing.

I have never been to the RR tailgate and would like to come Sunday.  Is that okay or is it a members only deal?

My understanding is that if you're a Panthers fan...you are welcome. Donate to the cause and enjoy. Members, however, get a free photo shoot with @RoaringRiot in an as yet undetermined place and time. Wardrobe malfunctions encouraged.

if you are bringing any hot women they will need to be screened by me first.  If you are bringing ugly women, go directly to the bar.

One of those is correct.

Hell, I met 3 cool people on the train in Sunday morning at 7am.  They were asking me what bar they should go to when they got there to have some drinks and hang out before the game.  They were from out of town and had no idea you could not buy alcohol until noon.  I brought them over to the tailgate....they threw $40 a piece in and had a great time tailgating with the RR and Huddle crowd.

    • It’ll be interesting to see how the board falls I completely agree with you on TE for us The safety from Oregon would be the cherry on top for Evero’s defense/scheme.  If a OL’men is there that you love it would be very hard to pass up. This fan base seems to just see Walker as a stop gap but I wouldn’t be so sure. He’s the same age as Ekwonu. He’s had a much more impressive career arc/progression than Icky has. He’s the better pass protector. As far as I see it if Walker has a good year I’d bring him back over Icky. Ekwonu isn’t some elite franchise LT. Playing next to Lewis is going to be great for Walker much like it has been for Icky. We definitely need to get younger/cheaper on the OL though so for this reason alone it’s still top of my list come round 1 if board falls this way  Could also use another corner with Mike Jackson’s deal up after this season and needing a nickel but Corey Thornton looked really good in that role in the limited time we got to see him. However he’s coming off an achillies injury and you never know with those.  Then as mentioned above we do still have a need at WR. As far as “weapons” go it’s kind of a 2 man show with Tmac and Coker and neither is a burner. If Jordan Tyson is there at 19 and we can have a young WR group locked up for cheap that’s a huge advantage cap wise  And don’t forget linebacker. That clip in Devin’s Lloyd blueprint they used from Evero saying they need more intelligence there could’ve been left out for Wallace’s sake but it’s true. Wallace is lost in coverage. Pair a smart linebacker with Lloyd and that’s a group with Wallace and Cherelus being depth
    • The fact that this is even a discussion is a testament of the level of front office badassery that's going on.
    • Not always. LT was for the Giants. So was Ray Lewis. Von Miller was moreso than Manning his final year in the season that shall not be named. It's usually the QB, but not always.
