The "official" award is the AP MVP award which is announced at the NFL Honors Ceremony, held the week before the Super Bowl.

Of course, Cam is going to run away with that award as well.

It absolutely is official. Three groups are listed by the NFL in its annual Record and Fact Book for awards and All-Pro teams - the AP, Pro Football Writer's Association, and the Sporting News. The AP is most prestigious, but this is a legit award.

It's just crazy how far Cam has progressed. I still remember some people on this forum arguing whether it was worth it to extend Cam and give him that 100 mil contract.(SMH) Now he's outperformed the hell out of it.

lol i remember when some waterheads on here were wanting to trade him after that arizona loss in 2013

The guys who wanted to trade were actually the Cam nut huggers who thought we would never maximize his potential and wanted us to trade him to a team with better offensive talent where he could flourish under an OC who really knew how to use him.

    • Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.
    • This post was an error. Oops and sorry for the errors in the previous one. Too slow to edit.   We’ll see what they do.
    • I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
