I'm guessing that the astronomical cost of an NFL merchandising license proved prohibitive.  So sad....

That's too bad.  I've been a panther fan for years (even though I have been quiet on the Huddle) and was looking forward to having nice glossy photos to look at whenever the mood struck me. And I have not seen better photos than the ones Zod captures.

Kony looks stone cold in Picture 5 of Slide 6, and that picture of Luke on Slide 17 is hilarious.

It's almost like Luke smiles so little, that when the joy hits him, he is kinda lost. Even the wife wanted to know what was going on with that pic. Priceless

Also, really getting sick and tired of say; nice job Igo, and thanks. So Ima change it up and just say. Cool story bro.

I sat for a long time looking at this picture. Wondering what Luke was thinking (wondering even if "thinking" was the right word) to turn Mr. Luke Punster into that football player. I finally gave up; I don't think I could ever be/think/act that scary. My only conclusion was that the look on Luke's face - that look - is exactly what a true-life pouncing panther would look like.

Thank you for capturing those moments in still life that the human eye can not discern while watching in real time. So awesome.

Our team has some players that can make you wet your pants with just a look.

Kuechly and Norwell come to mind.

Each week I bring to you the best of what my camera lens finds.

Random Q - do you ever find your amazing photos stolen by news organizations who don't give you the $$ or credit?

(there's a story from this past weekend about a photo the NYPost paid for being lifted off that site by CBS Radio and CBS TV and used without credit -- the photog is suing CBS for damages up to $150k per work, plus attorney's fees.... along with infringement cost of $2500 per work up to $25k for the lack of credit)

    • What's wrong with Damien Lewis? He played pretty well last year.
    • Official NFL Cuts Tracker Deadline for roster cuts is Tuesday, August 26th. At this moment (Friday, August 22nd) the only interesting names I see are... K Caden Davis (BUF) RB Ameer Abdullah (SF) WR Equanimeous St. Brown (SF) WR Donovan Peoples-Jones (NO) LB Khaleke Hudson (TEN) Abdullah, St. Brown, Peoples-Jones I don't exactly think we should cut anybody for but it was just interesting seeing those names. Khaleke Hudson was on the Panthers' practice squad last year I believe and might have even gotten called up? And of course, Caden Davis just because of the question mark at kicker this season for the team.
    • I'll say 6/10. I don't know that we learned a whole lot about this team during preseason that we didn't already know. We didn't play the starters enough to really get a feel for what to expect. We had one good drive against the Browns, one 3-and-out and two 3-and-outs against the Texans. That's an extremely small sample size across 3 games regardless of performance. My camp/preseason takeaways: Jalen Coker might be the best WR on this team and is certainly no worse than #2. Nic Scourton is going to be a good player for us. Possibly very good. Bobby Brown was our best free agent addition. Jack Plummer isn't an NFL QB. Not even a practice squad guy. Having anyone other than Canales and Evero call plays was a really stupid and pointless idea. Our depth is largely non-existent, especially on defense. The three areas we actually DO have depth are on the OL, in the WR corp. and at RB. I can't fathom why Dan Morgan didn't do more to upgrade ILB during the offseason. We better hope Lathan Ransom steps up at FS because if he doesn't we have a massive hole. For all the hype surrounding Sanders/Evans, Tommy Tremble is still the best TE on the roster. I'm only slightly less enthusiastic going into the regular season than I was a month ago. I think our starters on offense are solid and we should be pretty good there unless Bryce totally regresses. On defense, we're probably bottom 3rd in the league if 100% healthy and significantly worse than that if injuries become an issue. We badly need at least two of our rookies to become high-level players early (ideally one of the pass rushers + Ransom) and at least 2 of our free agent additions (ideally Moehrig + Bobby Brown) to be significant upgrades over last year. Call me pessimistically optimistic 😆
