Remind me...There was a right tackle that hit the market last year bragging about how he wouldn't take less than 8 million a year, but ended up doing so after pretty much nobody offered him much of anything till way late in free agency.

Anybody else remember who I'm talking about?

Joe Barksdale from the Rams I think

#Seahawks LB Bruce Irvin has clear interest from #Jaguars & #Falcons, with many connections. But keep an eye on #AZCardinals. They like him

In 2015, Irvin appeared in 15 games and recorded 38 tackles, 5.5 sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and two pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 15 linebacker in a 4-3 defense out of 35 qualifying players.

The Cleveland Browns announced Monday that they’ve extended qualifying offers to the restricted free agents: DB Don Jones, OL Austin Pasztor, WR Terrelle Pryor and LB Scott Solomon.

Market is developing for Texans free agent tackle Chris Clark

Did I miss something? Why is Weddle just a dream?

From Ayers' comments though, it looks like he wont be a Panther in 2016.

Igo indicated we don't have any interest in Weddle in another thread implying that we are happy with Boston as a starter.

I can't imagine Ayers getting anywhere near the $10M/year he reportedly wants, but it does indicate he will likely take the highest offer which likely won't be us.

Jason Cole of B/R reports that Browns free agent C Alex Mack has generated “extensive interest” from the Falcons.

One player teams are intrigued by? TE @JaredCook89, who has averaged 577 yards per season over the last four (despite inconsistent QB play)

Re Cook: only eight other TEs have a higher yards per season average over that time.

Jason Cole of B/R reports that the Titans are currently in the lead for Jets free agent DT Damon Harrison and view him as a huge boost for their defense.

In 2015, Harrison appeared in all 16 games for the Jets and recorded 72 tackles, a half sack, and a forced fumble.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Eagles have made it known that they’re willing to trade RB Ryan Mathews for the right price.

Previous reports have said that they are also looking to trade RB DeMarco Murray, so it’s clear that Philadelphia is open for business.

Mathews, 28, is in the second year of his three-year, $11 million contract that includes $5 million guaranteed. He stands to make a base salary of $3 million for the 2016 season.

According to OverTheCap.com, trading Mathews would free up $2 million in available cap space while creating $2 million in dead money.
