DL depth at both positions really needed to be addressed in free agency, I'm sure everyone would feel more comfortable if we got another DE before the draft as well

Jason Jones could be someone to watch.  He's been a guy who's good and produces but just not someone identifiable as a long term starter.  Johnson, Ealy, & Addison are the only for sures in our rotation and Addison is situational/passing downs.  Cox/Miley/Delaire/Horton are competing and it'd be very nice to get someone to push that group even more.

Interesting. BIG DT wasn't fit w/Quinn's system in ATL. RT @Rand_Getlin: I'm told defensive tackle Paul Soliai is visiting the #Panthers.

how much will he want?

Good question.  He will get about $4m from the birds over the next 2 years, I am guessing he will be offered a 2-year, $5m deal. It will be interesting to see.  This is Star depth (so if we sign him, Love looks to be gone).  In addition, it may be a hint that we draft a 3 tech DT.

    • I agree but he honestly has gotten better about this. Used to be he’d do it like 4-5 times a game, now it’s like 2-3. Overall I’m incredibly happy with his game, his D has been solid and when he is playing his role he’s a solid scorer and one of the few guys who can consistently finish at the rim and provide that threat. Plus he’s electric and LaMelo loves him. Going into the season I was sure he would just be a stop gap here but now I’m reconsidering and could see him continue to be a “core” piece here. Obviously not on the level of the other starters but he is an important cog for this team. We felt his missed presence during his and Moose’s suspensions.
    • Philly will be a bigger challenge than the Knicks were IMO. George and Embiid are back, not sure about Maxey but Embiid alone is a nightmare matchup for us and Moose. We’ve never really done well against him. Celtics added Tatum but honestly not sure they’re all that much better with him right now than they were when we whooped them a few weeks ago. We should be able to at the very least split these 2, hopefully take both.
