Off Topic - Any Panther fans that USED to be NCAA BB fans?

I loved NCAA basketball in the 90s, but now it just doesn't have the same appeal. A lot of teams don't even have a center, or a proper point guard for that matter. It makes the offense hard to watch. I still enjoy college basketball, but the good ol' days are gone. The NBA is taking the talent too quickly.

Wish they could make two years mandatory. I think it would help the College and NBA games.

I wish it was similar to how they do football, 3 years minimum.

As for the OP question, I used to love college BB.  Watching your team grow, and develop over 3-4 years.  Seeing that great rookie class grow into a powerhouse a few years later.  Now it sucks.  Those kids don't even know how to really play as a unit, until the season is nearly over... then they're gone.  Oh well... maybe they'll make some changes in the future.

It drives me crazy that the basic fundamentals are not enforced any more...  The guy bringing the ball up court palms the ball all the way down... Then they dribble at about eye level...  Players shuffle their feet...  The list goes on...  I sure dont watch like I used too....

Don't get me started on the "Euro Step" or as I like to call it, the "Travel-Carry Combo."

I still watch my beloved Tarheels and have since the Phil Ford days.  Not nearly as much over the past 10 years or so.

I think with the one and done players these days.

The coaches like Pitino and Capalri that intentionally recruit the one and doners and everyone thinks they are a great coach.

Nowadays I watch a couple Heels games a year and the Tournament because I love to see the upsets but not as disappointed when the Tarheels get bounced as I did 10-20 years ago.

My sports clock is on the Panthers and each phase of the football year.

Yea, I watched a lot growing up because my family are all huge Tarheels fans.  Once I moved out on my own I started pretty much only watching football.  Now the only thing I know about anything other than football is whatever my mom tells me is going on with UNC.
