On Friday, during an interview on SiriusXM NFL Radio Sterling Shepard said that he has had a private workout with the Carolina Panthers. He also said he had a workout with the Houston Texans and will be meeting with the Los Angeles Rams. Oklahoma WR @Sterl_Shep3: I have a workout with the #Rams next week and I’ve already had workouts with the #Panthers and #Texans.

26 minutes ago, Captain Morgan said:

don't see him going in the first, don't see him lasting till us in the 2nd.  Would like to

get him though.

Pretty much how I see it. We would probably need to do another 2nd round trade up to get him which is probably unlikely. Gettleman said he was motivated to do it last year because he feared what would happen if KB got injured. There isn't such an issue this year since we already got Funchess and proved we can survive with one of our WRs going down.

    • I agree with OP notion, QBs always get credited for game winning drives even if they do minimal. Just last night Caleb got credited for a GE drive when they basically ran the ball the whole drive and only had to go 36 yards.   And there are drives where Bryce could of had a game winning drive if not for a Legette drop vs Philly or a Chubba fumble vs Tampa
    • You are actually, genuinely comparing Bryce to Jimmy fuging Pickles? Jimmy accounted for 3 touchdowns in his 10 starts in 2010. In Bryce’s 10 games post benching last year, he accounted for 20 touchdowns. Jimmy threw three touchdowns in 2010. Three. Bryce has thrown 10 touchdowns through 6 games. He is currently on track to throw for 3300 yards, 28 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Wtf are we even talking about anymore. I mean seriously
    • Tepper? The guy that directs the coaches towards goals that he set for them… that guy. He is the one.    I don’t think he ever was going to be expelled from class, they had him come in for garbage time maybe the 2nd week he was benched.  I will say this. People said he wasn’t under pressure the last part of the year when he did better, but he was fighting for his career and that’s pressure. And he saved his career too. I don’t reject him for those kinds of things I reject him for the physical things. I have always brought it down to he has slim margin for error and has to be perfect. People with the tool set have a little fatter margin for error. Why make it harder on yourself? Got nothing to do with hating him.  I am no statistician but game that margin thing out a lot and see how that works.
