Again Last 3 Super Bowls winners had talent in the secondary. I hope there's a plan to get us another playmaker if Jno isn't coming back

We had JNo in the secondary against Denver. Fat lot of good it did for us. Dude was too busy wearing Luchador masks for press conferences...

Dave has the teams best interest at heart. Not sure he did anything dirty as I think he really tried to get a deal done. Josh and his agent played it all wrong by not signing the tender and playing hardball.

I agree, but this is dirty in sense that Josh is just now Free agent. Those teams with big cap space are in draft mode. Plus Oakland has to pay Carr&mack 20+ mill each, had has to Blake 20mill+ and Robinson 15+mill in the very near future. The market is day and night right now.

On the flip side, had he signed the tender when it was offered, he wouldn't be jobless in a crappy market and would be guaranteed to make 13 million this year no matter what.

Two sides to each coin. I'm honestly just enthralled at watching what becomes of all this and it's making the draft THAT much more exciting for me.

When Jared Allen retired, he said that he had never, ever been a part of a locker room like the Panthers.  They were the only team that had ever taken TEAM  seriously.  Josh was moving away from that approach very fast.  I liked Josh and as I have said before, he needs to make some money with the time he has left in the league, but he should have figured out that there could be a better way to make his money than acting up.

He might end up wishing he had taken the big year payment from the Panthers here in about a week

I see. I really blame Josh and his agent though. they were playing games by not signing the tender and not showing up for OTA's . They were playing chess and got checked.
