Goes to show to all the dumbfugs that wanna blast Norman and call him greedy and poo, this was an unfortunate series events brought about by a stupid agent.  Norman should have gotten a better agent, but no way for him to have foreseen this.

I feel a bit differently hearing this.  Sounds like we had a chance to possibly keep him and Gettleman acted bullheaded.

it isn't our GM's job to hold an agent's hand nor should he have to send him emails reminding him to talk with his client about how negotiations are going

I'm not calling him greedy but he could've chosen to come back here even after the tag was rescinded. Norman's actions also were a part of it.

Only way to come back after than was on a deal that was $4mil per season below his worth. Wasn't a greed thing, was a pride thing. I'm not saying he isn't prideful. He certainly is. It's a trait most successful football players have.

I don't see it that way. Sounds like there was nothing they could do at that point because the paperwork had already been filed. I'd be more upset if it hadn't been filed and he still had gone through with it after josh had offered to make the changes.

I really hope this doesn't bite us when the season starts if the coaching staff thought Norman was important it doesn't matter what head in the clouds fans think.....we have a hole that needs to be fixed.

No, it's not. It's his job to do what's in the best interest of the team.  Negotiations with noob agents had obviously fallen apart, but once Josh personally reached out offering to fire the agent, if I'm in Gentleman's I'm willing to see what Josh is thinking in terms of signing a long-term deal.

Agreed.  If the paperwork was filed, then that's a wrap.
