Here It Is Folks...Cam Newton MVP Highlights

Promised myself no matter how long it took, I would make Cam an MVP highlight reel. I mean hell, if I've made highlight reels of Chris Harris, Brandon Lafell and David Gettis, The 2010 Carolina Panthers and even James Anderson highlights - I sure as hell better be making the only MVP in Panthers history one.

It includes his crazy ride, and all 50 touchdowns. Long reel I know, but when you're Cam Fricken' Newton and an MVP - that's what will happen. We are so lucky to have this guy on our squad. Makes me wonder how we ever survived the Clausen, Moore, Carr, Pike, St. Pierre days (but was totally worth it). Without further todo, here you go and I hope you enjoy.

*Edit*

I chose The Dark Knight theme because of two reasons. 1 - It's EPIC. 2 - It fits Cam so well. A guy hated for no logical reason, does so much good, a "Dark Knight" of his own.

Fantastic job as always.

Two things stood out to me watching this. 1) How many touchdowns Ted Ginn had last year.  Seemed like he had one in almost every game. 2) How much of a weapon Funchess became towards the end.  His strength after the catch and breaking tackles is impressive.  If he has improved as much as has been reported he could become a major factor for our offense.  He, Olsen and Benjamin will be damn near unstoppable.

Can't wait for the season.

Funchess is deadly on those slants and skinny posts. Undefendable in man.

    • Remember when we had Cam Newton, Derek Anderson, and Joe Webb? Good times
    • Ridley Grieg was handed a 2-game suspension for his sucker punch on Sean Walker during the Ottawa series. First 2 regular season games for the 2026-2027 schedule.
    • Number 9  Carolina Panthers  Bryce Young, the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, produced career highs in completion percentage (63.6%), passing yards per game (188.2) and passing touchdowns (23) in 2025. However, those numbers aren't exactly stellar by NFL quarterbacking standards. Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down. He threw for the third-fewest passing yards by a quarterback to make the playoffs in the last 20 seasons, per CBS Sports Research.  FEWEST PASSING YARDS BY QB TO REACH PLAYOFFS, LAST 20 SEASONS (MIN. 16 STARTS) PASSING YARDS PLAYOFF WINS 2012 Christian Ponder (MIN) 2,935 0 2008 Joe Flacco (BAL) 2,971 2 2025 Bryce Young (CAR) 3,011 0 2006 Steve McNair (BAL) 3,050 0 2019 Josh Allen (BUF) 3,089 0 Young did deliver some high highs, like when he threw for a franchise-record 448 yards passing in a Week 11 overtime win at the Atlanta Falcons and when he went toe-to-toe with Stafford in the playoffs in a 34-31 defeat.  Kenny Pickett couldn't win the Cleveland Browns' quarterback competition a year ago, and Will Grier is a career backup.
