That's the issue, I don't think he'll ever learn LT.  Hawkins looks solid there as well.  So, unless he overtakes Remmers (please God let it happen sometime soon) it's using him out of place.

if Byrd plays remotely decent on Friday, there should be no reason he doesn't make the 53.  Kids got that fire to him...small, fast and fierce.

I agree. I think the team is just now evaluating which position is getting cut so we can carry 6 receivers. He's that talented and he has the best WR coach in the league. It would give us a great combination of size and speed that we need on the offensive side of the ball.
