Id trade DA in a heartbeat he ain't prove shlt.. are defense proved it can win with a game manager Qb cut the crap..

You might want to actually look at his stats when serving as a backup for us.

He prove shlt as are backup.

We aren't getting an elite piece in the draft for DA. He is worth a 4th at absolute best and more likely a 5th or 6th.

No not in the draft, a GM would be a fool to give up anything for DA other than a late rounder. But hypothetically speaking say Cam got hurt. What would be a better move for the future, keeping DA around and being good enough to make the playoffs but not be a title threat. Or DA not being here having to rely on Webb and adding a top five pick(lets say a Myles Garrett) to this defense as is. The latter would be better because there's no point in rolling with a backup who can only take you so far.

But this is all based on if we ever trade DA and have to rely on Joe Webb. There will come a time where drafting a qb to backup Cam will be the best plan of them all.

DA is way to valuable to us

if Cam goes down we still have a chance

Not to win a superbowl.

We'd still have a chance to be good tho, just not great. And as good as our defense is its not good enough to bring a superbowl title.

Anderson helped lead Cleveland to a winning season.  That alone is a noteworthy achievement.

ten years younger with braylon edwards... not sure he can replicate that in minnesota.

DA is awesome... but he's not a long-term starter. he was a dropped pick away from losing the 2014 opener at the last second. i am very happy with him in our stable and i hope he stays here to step in for cam when needed, but his stock would tank outside of his current position. he knows it and that's partly why he's so content here.
