Chips system will help cover-up this weakness. Sad ....I mean great to see 49ers who had the best overall talent in 2013, what they have today. That off season of hell nearly killed the team.

Will it?  Didn't seem to work to well at Philly last year.  Don't care what system a team uses, if you don't have the talent for it, then you aren't going to do very well.

I mean that's about a 2 in the rating, the system should make them look like a 4.5(10 scale). No bones it's a weak group, plus they lost Bruce Ellington whom was looking like their #1. I believe Hyde is hurt too, but the division hasn't played much against chip. Spread them out dink-dunk, but run the ball and get fresh downs is the key. OL is a question, if Davis is back they have that's a great pair of OTs. Momentum is mainly chips system, get it and the game becomes ugly.

I caught one of their preseason game and Michael Davis looked legit. Lastly I do not believe it's a free win when the panthers play. Last year eagles where coming back hard in the 4th.

I don't believe any NFL game is a free win. And you might be right about the niners oline, I haven't paid that much attention.  But I am not sure a comparison to the Eagles game is valid.  Bradford is not a great qb, but he is better than anyone on the 49ers at this point.  And Fwiw, I don't think the Eagles were coming back hard in the 4th in that game.  Maybe you are confusing them with the Indy game, or one of the other games we nearly blew at the end.   The Eagles got one long run to score their only td of the game, and Cam had 3 interceptions (at least two of which I think were on the receivers.  But we shut them out in the 4th qtr.  Except for the 1 long run, the Eagles offense was mostly nonexistent against us last year. 

 

Sorry, guess I am just not a big believer in Chip's system.  It worked well enough in the first year when he had some talent, but he got rid of the talent, and the system dropped them to the middle of the pack.

Yea I firderr up the dvr and eagles had the ball. 4tn quarter 24-16 and miles Austin dropped a 4th down pass.(ball was on the eagles 30). That's not coming back hard like the giants, green bay and/or colts games. Sad part was the panthers not running out the clock. Well that still was a bad eagles team and they played poorly, but hung around. I truly don't know if Bradford is better than either of sfans QBs in running his system. He failed rather hard, after chip traded for him. I do believe chip can cover some in the lack of talent department via scheme on offense especially early in the season. After the tape is out tho....... It took the NFC east a couple years to figure him out. Back-to-back 10-6, then last year's failure.

Torrey Smith would have far and away been our best receiver last year, Kerley is a sure handed vet, and Patton IMO is as every bit as good as Brown. They are just stuck in a terrible QB situation.
