**tried to quote the comment about "when does it become scripted" but it chose my last quoted message instead when I clicked "quote".. Sorry.

Right now NFL... I'm still skeptical on the NCAA. They are all about the money but they are also far too stupid to coordinate that many people at one time.

How about that call? The refs aren't out to get us. Sometimes teams are more unlucky than others.

Just like with the SB, they skewed the game so much with calls early, that they then call less consequential penalties later in the game to make the officiating look more even than it was.  Problem is, momentum was already changed and we had to fight uphill at that point, just like in the SB.  Not to mention, we wouldve had another timeout on that final crucial drive had it not been for their intentional attmept to GIVE Denver a first down spot that was clearly a half yard short earlier in the game.  That dramatically changes how a game is played and managed.

It's not fixed as in the outcome but the game is definitly altered that's not debatable even former refs and NBA refs have said as much. They will do what they can to keep the lines close or a game interesting and we have solid 2 games in a row proof of that.

Could also look up former ref conversations and confessions. But w/e believe what you will but proof is proof especially when I can literally start calling which calls they are going to call and when they will start to call them.

Refs clearly allow Cam Newton to take punishment they protect other QBs from purely because he is big.

they overlooked them all game.  Basically had their arm twisted to call that last one given how obvious and out in the open it was

At what point does football begin to be scripted? Not high school...Not college...at what point does it start?

I think the players are mostly doing all they can, but the refs, even just one, can dictate the flow of the game and kill/change momentum at a whim.  I don't think it always works, but they are getting better at it every year.  The refs get worse every year for a decade and nothing is done, why is that?  Profit.  Sharing.

    • I think in all honestly, the final 2 games are carrying most of the weight in a lot of Bryce talk IMO.    During the window where he "blew it out of the water" window......were a lot of games where he was not above average.  AZ is largely one of those stat sheet games.   Where the stat sheet reflects QB play that didn't exist in the game.  That game was all Chuba.  Meh vs Dallas.  Meh vs Philly.  Meh vs Giants.  Probably average vs Tampa, Den, Saints.  Bryce made HUGE strides vs what he was.  We should be happy.   But when you start comparing him to the rest of the league.....people I think are going too far.  His best aspect in reality.....is his scrambling.  And that's probably not a great thing give his size.
    • Mays and Zavala looked lost in the Reich offense.  Granted Zalava was probably playing too soon due to injuries but he looked terrible.  This new staff seems to be doing well with our OL.  I also wonder if having two vets in Hunt and Lewis just made life that much easier on whoever was/is playing center.
    • What the Panthers should target in order (via free agency or via trade): 1. Julian Blackmon  2. Mike Hilton 3. Jaire Alexander 4. Jalen Ramsey
