First week, we played the world champs and almost won. This week we played a team in rebuilding mode and won, but looked bad in the first half.

Not much. Week 2 is like that. We got a win, we need it, enjoy it.

We weren't the best through week 3 last year either.  In fact, Cam is ahead of his play last year.  The defense just has to get better.  Today though, we gave up points on stupid plays (Ginn fumble, Ginn drops, Cam fumble), etc.    The offense will be fine, even without Stewart, and that'll probably win us 10 games easy at minimum.

Definitely have some weaknesses, but what team in the NFC doesn't?  No one in the conference has looked any better than us taking the competition into account, and if Gano's kick hadn't missed week 1 then this thread wouldn't exist.  Our offense is averaging 33 points per game so far, and we're on pace for a +144 pt scoring differential, carry on...

Our dline needs to step the up. I just don't know if they can though, we lack talent and explosiveness at the DE position

It's the same Dline as last year, but Norman's coverage sacks aren't here this year.   Our rookie CB's have to become really good to get back to that spot, or else the Dline needs to get better, but I"m not sure that will happen.  Johnson is just a non-factor most of the plays now.
