6 foot, 215, 9-year vet... wouldn't be surprised if the underlying plan is to move Kurt back to more of a full-time FS role and Griffin to push into the starting lineup as a Harper/Mikell-type player.

Panthers truly miss Harper. Watching the iants vs falcunts, Harper seemed like one of the few putting out effort for the full game. I even believe now Harper is better in coverage than Boston, which should not be correct. Coleman isn't playing much better than Boston either.....

Love isn't a 3tech, solai just isn't a DT at this stage.

Michael Griffin has always played FS in his career.

Just to pile on, he signed for the vet minimum with the iants...... And since he knows the defense and calls, the panthers had to spend a portion of otas and TC learning new code words and how to mask their formations. I'm fairly sure he would have LOVED to resign here too.... Plus you didn't have to worry about him(off-field, watching film etc.). Hell if you couldn't find him, just look in the weight room.

You sure about that? I remember him as a box safety. He always had high tackles totals too, which is harder for a FS.

A couple of thoughts:

We have a very old roster now. Even before these signings we had the 5th oldest roster.

Apparently Tre Boston is too erratic to be counted on as a starter.
