I think you're severely overrating other team's players.

That happens a lot on here. To listen to this board talk someties, you'd think every team in the league was two deep with all pros at every position.

Na, both are better than Remmers and could at least slow down Miller.  Unlike Remmers.  Good talk.  Enjoy your Friday evening.

You can visit other team'a message boards and see the same thing. It's universal.

Id trade the first for Thomas and a 2nd round pick. For just thomas no more than a 3rd. possibly a 3rd and a 5th/6th if talks were serious and the 5th/6th was the deal breaker.

When I first read this I was all for it. But, the more I thought about it, the less likely I see it happening. Sure they would wind up with 2 1st, and gain 10mil in caps space. But the difference between their 2nd, and our 1st is only a handful of spots. However, if they want to jettison Thomas, and his cap hit?

I realize that we are only speculating. But hellz bellz, Thomas would make us better. If the price was right, and Gman wouldn't do it otherwise. Why not?

Also, I am pretty sure the first thing Gman would ask is if Thomas would be willing to work out an extension. 10mil is a pretty big cap hit.

That said. The Browns should do him a solid. If he wants to retire a Brown. They should let him. If he is willing to make the move? Again, Why not?

31 years old, but would solve our LT issue for the next 2-3 years.

Gettlemen would never do it, because Gettlemen isn't that kind of GM.  You know, the one that's actually had a Franchise LT in his whole career.

But man, it would be nice to solidify the Left Tackle position for a few years.

Also, winning a Super Bowl is a must for the fan base RIGHT NOW.  So, if it put us over the hump to win one, I'm all for it.  Whether it has us suck for a year or two or not.

Attaway to shyt all over Jordan Gross. And at least spell Nipple Short's name correctly.
