Let's face it you have to spend money to win in the NFL. This past off season we did the opposite and now we are reaping the rewards. How long are you for 1) Not protect your QB and 2) Add pass rushers that can get to the ball carrier. I mean you can cheap out on one but not both.

I understand people are angry right now and attack any comment made by the team

But honestly, comments like the one in the title needs to be attacked. We were not in this situation before. 2013 is a completely different team, they were not coming off a SB loss, we had some mean fuging guys on that team that we don't have now, and that defense was better through 4 games than the 4 games now. We didn't have 1 player putting up 300 yds receiving on that defense

A few days ago, the excuse was teams are getting rid of the ball quick thats why we can't sack anybody. Well today Matt wasn't, he held the ball and was launching that mofo deep. All I hear is bullshit

So, Rivera is trying to get people to find comfort in the fact that he puts the team behind the 8 ball almost every season, and they rally to barely pull it off at the end only to fall short in the playoffs?

That was great in 2013 following a fresh rebuild, but you are beyond that now and have greater expectations to live up to for the franchise. Lowering the bar is not an option.

I hope to god I am wrong about this but... ron is starting to look like john fox 2.0 now.. they both are crazy stubborn and refuse to make much needed changes.. john fox stayed far longer than he had any right to as a coach here just because he made it to the superbowl that one time.. the same could very well happen with ron if he don't get his poo together.
