Saints are on a Bye. 

Panthers are extremely banged up and get a short week going into New Orleans next week. 

Getting zero help from the football gods this year.

Cam, Oher, Stewart, Butler, and Bradberry will all be healthy and well-rested by then.

Doubt it. Bradberry may be out a while. Turf toe isn't usually a one week thing. Can't predict the concussion prototcol either. Possibly won't see Cam and/or Oher till after the bye.

Well...I'm headed down to NoLa on Wednesday to turn that place inside-out. So there's some good news.

To be fair, we had extra rest before TB (thanks to opening the season on Thurs) and ATL (after they had a Mon night game in NO). We also played the Vikings at BOA after they had a Sun night game in GB.

Fan base has lost interest for the most part.  Because the coaching staff is hot garbage and "BAE" did nothing when it mattered.  We could beat TB, but Brees is going to destroy us in the Dome.

 It doesn't help that our secondary is in transition. Right now it's sloppy with lots of blown coverage, and eventually it will be nearly mistake free with tight zone coverage. But how long will it take to improve? Probably until mid-season. So I'm expecting a loss against the Saints the first game.

Honestly, tomorrow night is a must win. Next week is likely a loss. If the Panthers are 1-5 going into their bye.... It is over. The schedule only gets tougher.

Yep, pretty much.  If that happens, ya know, going from the Super Bowl to complete poo in one year.  If anyone blames anybody but Gettlemen and the coaching staff.  Well, they're completely wrong.

The x-factor is the health of Atlanta and N.O over the course of the season. If the injury bug strikes we might be able to catch up to them even with a bad start. N.O, although not super talented, still has the offensive fire power to light up our secondary like Chernobyl. The thing is that actually our secondary is actually much faster than last season's, but we're shooting ourselves in the foot with poor execution.
