Giants allow Brown to fly to London

Josh Brown has basically admitted to the world that he physically and mentally abused his wife, and I'm assuming that the Giants brass also knows about this, but they're allowing him on the plane to London anyways...

Does anyone remember the flack the Panthers organization got over how they handled Hardy? Let's see how the media handles this one.

So far, it is not going well for the Giants.

It's inconsistent with how the league treated Hardy, Brown should be on the exempt list now, but it's been that way for other players recently as well--we just got fuged over by the league. However I really don't care much about punishing players for off the field things that the league just shouldn't be involved in. Let the legal process deal with anything that has nothing to do with the league. I'm completely fine with Brown playing if the Giants think it's worth whatever PR headache there is for them to have an average kicker. But I'd also be completely fine with the Giants deciding to fire him based on his off the field issues. Let the teams handle it however they want and if the fans want to chime in and help the team make a decision then that's great. Goodell and the league should stay out of it. Brown's a PoS, much bigger scumbag than Hardy. But there's scumbags all over the country doing various important jobs and few of them lose their jobs when they have minor legal issues where the charges were later dropped. Jobs need to be done and I don't really care much if an NFL player who does his job is a scumbag like Hardy or Brown or a choir boy like Olsen or Luke.

And this is Panther related how?

How many around here really care what is happening in New York? Move this mother to the NFL forum.

Is it really that important to have your name on a thread? Ohh ohh, I have a thread idea. Where is my laptop? Hurry, someone might beat me to it.

Let's get back to bashing our team can we?

between Brown and OBJ, this Giants team is a disaster.

I remember my giants fan friends talking about how classless and dirty the panthers were last year after that emotional game. Bringing up all this poo about Ron being broken in by dirty old Buddy Ryan and how we harbored horrible people like Greg Hardy.

    • I don’t know about floor in a team defense sense but we needed more.  The floor that I am familiar with is our QBs floor and it is so low that every other part of the team needs to be beefed up.     We tried our best to improve these things and I think we did improve the defense and we at least kept the offense  from sinking from no LT.  And ostensibly helped the receivers too.   So we kept a window open that we at least have a chance to improve our record by a game of two.  Which would probably give us the division.

    • Yeah. I am one of. those who think a JAG RB can eat with really good blocking. (Brooks is most important in my mind, in tbe passing game and that is what we’ll lose without him)  There are a lot of aspects to this. The big one that caused us to struggle is Young and his arm scared no one.  Best back, best blocking still cannot defeat a really good defense if they are not forced to respect the pass.  And teams did not.    But, a strong OL and running game Can get us over against weaker defenses.  And if Bryce still doesn’t scare anyone we can still win some games. Like last year  So it is really important to tend to that OL.   Get that straight and see if in his fourth year he can finally back defenses off. That is what if is all about this year to me, on the Bryce front.
