Get your eyes checked.

Is it any wonder why we have such a pathetic fan base when we have actual fans like this trying to play contrarian even if it means opposing defenses trying to turn our franchise QB's brain to scrambled eggs week after week?

There's a legitimate beef with the Denver game and some hits in the Arizona game. 100%. I think all of those were bullsh*t and that the refs definitely treat Cam different than other QBs. It's unfortunate. It's been happening to the Steelers with Big Ben his entire career as well, while guys like Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Ryan, Wilson get calls all the time. Something needs to be done about it. Calling non-fouls isn't the solution though. There was nothing wrong with the officiating in the Rams game. The Rams were playing very hard, rough and tough football and the only blatant foul that was uncalled was where the guy scraped his knee over Cam's helmet on the ground, but no ref could've seen that. It was like Burfict's ankle twisting. Impossible to see on the field. It's dirty as hell but stuff like that happens all across the league and goes uncalled. All the sacks were legal.

To me you fall into the discussion Mike and Mike had.  You are looking at the plays and saying that shouldn't be a flag.

What should be flags is a different discussion that gets blurred in.

The hit Cam took ARE flags in today's NFL.  He should of gotten 2. They all agreed they were missed calls but they think the NFL should allow those hits.  You can't however allow it under the current rules for just one guy.

If you make contact with the head of a passer it is a flag.  Those are the rules. Debating whether those should draw flags is another topic.

Those use to be legal plays.  NFL has deemed that contact now illegal.  The contact simply was there.  You could argue on Barron's it couldn't be caught in real time maybe...not Donalds

don't fall into the trap of creating a "fair and balanced opinion" when one side is clearly wrong. it's a helmet hit. it's a foul. it wasn't called. the refs knew this was an issue and that they have been missing calls. they have yet again not thrown the flag for one of the greatest players of this generation. there should be zero tolerance for this poo. don't be one of those people mindlessly nodding their head while the announcers go out of their way to explain how an illegal hit wasn't really illegal.

There is a definite issue with double standards in regards to officiating. That's painfully obvious.

Regardless, you can spin it however you like, it is not legal to make helmet to helmet contact with the QB within the pocket. The Rams did, this is not debatable.

I keep saying this over and over. This team doesn't deserve Cam. Any other fanbase would circle the wagon for their MVP QB. I am to the point where if Cam leaves Ima go with him and I've loved and lived for this team since we first drafted Peppers

This fanbase still has a loser mentality in general. Totally fine with a mediocre quarterback and mediocre coaches and coordinators. Even when winning, its a lot of bitching and complaining. Cam should just leave at some point, take his talents to a fanbase who would appreciate him. That's only if his body will hold up.

It wasn't a foul. Stop whining.

Answer these two questions:

Did Barron and Donald launch themselves at a QB in the pocket who was in a passing posture before impact?

Did Barron and Donald make any contact with the helmet or facemask of Cam Newton before landing back on the ground?

That is all you need to know to define it as a penalty under the NFL rule book.

Just to play devils advocate.

Could also relate to the NFLs blocking of all highlights and .gifs on team social media pages

Still should have been a penalty.  Hope Barron gets fined.

Pretty sure that's only during the game and for a window of a few hours after the game.  Not positive though.

14-15 years isn't a long time? I was like 10 in the middle of Texas rooting for a team that didn't even have merch in my city. Sorry I wasn't born into the city full of blue and black....

Why should the fans be expected to circle the wagons if Cam's own damn head coach won't do it?

(P.S. That was a rhetorical question.  You're 100% correct the fans should do it.)

Neither was I.

Point being, just cause you disagree with felloe fans, doesn't make them less of a fan.

Been a fan. Cheered through losing seasons. The truth is the truth. This fanbase has a loser mentality and is satisfied with mediocrity. That doesn't mean I'm not a real fan. I mean, people were and still are talking about just tanking the season for high draft picks. Losers!! This fanbase also doesn't appreciate the talent in Cam. The organization doesn't either. If he left, I wouldn't be shocked. I spoke in general terms. I do know for a fact there's fans who are not, but what I've seen here and Twitter, it's just a general loser mentality and satisfied with the "okay" way of things.
