WEEK 1 BRONCOS  - blown lead in the second half and a gano miss

WEEK 2 49ERS-    W

WEEK 3 VIKINGS   - blown lead

 WEEK 4 FALCONS-L

WEEK 5 BUCS-  DEREK ANDERSON ENDZONE PICK

WEEK 6 AINTS-DIDNT FINISH AND GANO MISS

WEEK 8 CARDS- W

WEEK9 RAMS - W

WEEK10 CHIEFS  - BLOWN LEAD

WEEK 11 AINTS -W

if we didn't basically have bad luck and going conservative during those blown leads we would be 9 and 1 and considered a contender . we are better than our record but we dont play 4 quarters.

We actually didn't go all that conservative at the end of the Chiefs game.

We were slinging it downfield. The problem was we were backed up in our own territory more often than not and had little run game to speak of due to our overmatched OL. To top that off receivers were dropping passes.

Biggest factor of why we are where we are is a lack of consistent run game. When you can run at will, other things fall into place, and you aren't put into constant disadvantageous situations.

7-3 is more realistic. The Vikings beat us soundly and we were playing catch up the entire saints game.

Vikings didn't beat us soundly. Take away the questionable call on KB on Fozzy's long TD and we easily win that game.

And Gano punting line drives allowed them good returns/field position

Yes but he was being asked to play a position he doesn't play. Most teams would be in a pickle if their punter got hurt. If we had a 2nd half offense that could put together drives that would have helped

I agree with that, just pointing out anot j er reason the KC game went down like it did

I agree with this more than any other excuse.  Same reason we lost the superbowl. When we can't run the opposing D keys in on Cam and our dumbass read option play action bs playcalling that doesn't work with a poo O line.  Cam was productive last year because for so many games (i think streak was 18-20 games until SB) we had over 100 yards rushing and our offense was balanced.  We got totally exposed in the SB on a talent and coaching level.

Yep. Let's not forget everyone was being critical of Rivera and Cam for being too aggressive - forcing a throw on that pick six late in the game, and then trying to score with under 30 seconds left.

    • Very True--and I am a former HS English teacher.
    • Not a Moore fan-but he had a few good games last year-but I want players that scare you--Renfrow's route running and intelligence, Legette's size, speed, and strength, AT's intelligence and route running, Coker's body control, strong hands, and abilty to win contested catches, and TMac's size, body control, and ability to find soft spots in zone coverages.  Horn gives them the ability to stretch the field and he plays special teams.   Moore has a nice smile and can dance.  He filled in well last season, but to get better as a team, you have to upgrade your players.  I think Moore is a bottom of the roster guy who got bumped when we drafted 2 WRs and signed a legit free agent.  Here is the thing--TMac makes us better because he is great against the zone--man?  Good luck with that.  AT's role can be reduced, and that is probably a good thing.  He can specialize in situational football. Coker?  Just getting started. XL?  Just getting started.  Drafting TMac was probably a bit of a wake up call, but XL will be better as the 2. Renfrow?  I see him splitting reps with AT--keeping both fresh and giving different looks. Horn?  Watch the safety cheat his side when he is in the game--I see a young Steve Smith type in him, but he has yet to play a game.  I hear that Morgan loves him.
    • Burns at 5-6 seems....a little aggressive.
