Boston is depth and should never be starting. The fact he has to start shows Gettleman either is forcing his picks to be played by the coach, or he has no idea of how bad the pick was for the team.

You know what happens to depth when someone above them on the depth chart gets injured? They start.

There is no one above Boston on the depth chart. You nailed my point for me. Thanks.

Depth fills in when a starter goes down. That does not make them the starter at their position. They are depth - even if they get a few starts. Now, when they are elevated to the starting role on the depth chart, they are the starter.

Great, thanks for that insight. Everyone keeps hammering the point of so and so shouldn't be starting because they suck blah blah. That was a simple example of last night where Coleman is out so Boston was forced to play the whole game. Before that Boston and Griffin had subbed in and out depending on passing/running downs. Early in the season the coaching staff obviously saw that Boston had not matured enough in run support so they brought in Griffin to help and spell Boston. The team addressed an area of weakness.

No joke.

Star was a no brainer. We needed DTs bad and we got him and KK in a DT heavy draft class. Don't believe me go look at that draft. Then he drafted the HOGMOLLY KUGBILA over Bakhtiari.

KB was a no brainer pick too. Ealy just been a bust so you can't blame fat Gman for it.

He drafted Shaq over Landon Collins when we needed S help. He traded up Funchess who has been pretty much JAG. Ronald Darby was available. Imagine our defense with both Collins and Darby. Yea only a fantasy now.

Just no point in drafting Butler. We knew CJ was getting old and DE was a damn need. That's why we traded for Jared Allen last season. We did nothing to improve it with Allen retiring. Passed up on Ogbah, Dodd, Spence.

Now, you drafted three cornerbacks in that same draft. One of your need is still CB for next season. And in such a good class of CB in 2017, you could potentially draft one in the 1st or atleast in the 2nd. Then that will be a wasted pick somewhere whether that's Worley or def Sanchez. All that to replace Josh Norman.

Lost me at Klein being a JAG.  Klein will be a starting MLB soon and will be worth every penny someone spends on him in the offseason.  If we didnt have the best MLB in the game, Klein would be starting for us and be loved by the fans.

Many of the league's MLBs are average aside a handful of exceptions. So it is fair to say he would start.
