Kelvin just completely quit

The Question

Recommended Posts

So many don't understand or discount just how important team chemistry and energy is.

Benjamin may not be playing to his potential but that's most of the team this season.

I personally believe that the heartbeat was taken out of the team and right now they are a bandaid gang not a team.

Does that mean a professional should not earn their paycheck? No-- but people are people.

Cam isn't on right now, the team is not on right now.

Also I believe the coaching staff and DG have a lot to do with the chemistry.

Where are Cams rollouts, scrambles, runs at all? It's like they have him playing scared so he's not Cam Newton-- he's Chris Weinke

hey I only caught the first half of the game yesterday. I just saw the replay of this and kinda understand what Kelvin was thinking because I thought he made contact as the guy went down which should've been the end of the play. I also see that the touchdown didn't stand, what happened? and how did we get a safety??

Google it, you lazy fug.

He's been damn near invisible for weeks and weeks...

Whatever is up with him, they need to fix it or get rid of him.

I love Kelvin Benjamin and his potential as much as anyone, but it is obvious that there is something up with this dude at this point. He just doesn't get it, or care, or something...

Let's be honest, his rookie year was full of garbage time stats when games were lost already.    He's not really a #1, but a great #2/3.   We're still looking for THAT guy.  Ironic, we always had a #1 with Smith and never anyone to be a good #2 except Moose for a few years there.

He gave up on multiple plays in that game.  It wasn't the first this year either.   He doesn't fight to make a catch, which is goofy since he's so big.   I've seen less fight out of him than Ginn.

Maybe he'll get it going for next year, we'll see.

What bugged me is that the announcers made no mention of what he did on either play.  Everyone on social media was killing him, except for the announcers.  How do you not even say, "not a great effort by Benjamin there."  I know there was replay on each play, but you have to call out players when you see something like that.

Addison got Rivers in the back of the end zone.

    • D Carr must have really disliked the saints to wait and do this announcement after the draft has passed if he made this call a few weeks before the draft sure they would have approached it and the offseason differently.  oh well will be interesting to see how their qbs perform.  would love to see them roll with Thill and just make the whole offense towards his skillset.  Although sadly would be only playing in about half the games with how often he gets injured.
    • I have to say it's quite fascinating seeing you pivot from months and months of wailing and agonizing about threads derailing into Bryce Young slingfests only for you to turn around and do the same thing. And just for the record. Nobody in life ever attained wisdom and clarity from mistakes by having people blindly fawn over them and tell them they are above reproach and incapable of making mistakes. Our front office is just as human as we are. And based on the fact that front offices across the league outside of a handful of teams change on a fairly regular basis it's safe to say they are certainly no more infallible than the average Joe even though they possess significantly more knowledge usually. If you want a utopia where all you do is shine shoes for anyone associated with the Panthers you go right on ahead and create yourself a new community sir. More power to you.
    • I trust Morgan when it comes to LBs so I think Wallace will do well.
