We have our first mildly interesting story to emerge from Senior Bowl week.

Per multiple sources, the Saints have been taking Senior Bowl players off site for interviews. This has been rubbing other teams the wrong way because it takes time to get the players off site, interview them, and bring them back. With limited total time for the interviews, that makes it hard for every team to interview every player it wants to interview.

As one source explained it, many of the players become confused when they are driven away, but they don’t know to say no.

The Saints aren’t breaking any rules, and some of the blame should go to the folks running the Senior Bowl for letting it happen. Regardless, teams aren’t happy about it

If it's legal and other teams don't like it change the rules. Can't really be mad at them for doing it, I'm more pissed we didn't do it first.

lol. This is the reason we went 6-10, we didn't pull Senior Bowl participants into interview rooms. God I hate this place sometimes.

I feel bad more for the kids than I am worried about the Saints breaking the rules. This is their shot to impress and if they're not getting as many interviews because of this then that sucks.

It's not that we didn't pull participants away from other teams for me. It's the bigger picture. There are things that this coaching staff can do that are within the rules of the NFL to do. Like him or hate him, Billy B does it in NE and the rest of the NFL gets pissed off when it happens. But here we sit, acting like today's NFL is 1985, trotting out the same old game plan every week, and lacking the creativity to take advantage when opportunities are there.

Shield at midfield, owner who is the NFL's cuck, character players over quality players and hope the nice guys finish first.

I didn't see anything in the article that mentions the Patriots doing this....it names the Saints. When I think of teams that are better than us at navigating the draft process and general practice of running the team, they don't come to mind. Praising them for that reeks of when Alice was here bragging about how Rob Ryan's new defense of having 11 safeties on the field was going to change the NFL. Much ado about nothing....and from the case of our fans sounds like more rage posting after a bad season, where the we are the worst mentality comes in, goes all the way down to blaming PSL owners, the guy who makes Bojangles biscuits at the stadium, etc.

I wasn't saying that the Pats are doing this. I'm saying this is within the rules of the NFL so they can't be called cheaters when they aren't violating the rules. Other teams have found ways to do things that no other NFL team has done because it's not a violation of the rules. The play with the tackle as a receiver that they used against the Ravens comes to mind. The Packers did it with a player out of bounds on the kickoff that resulted in a 40 yard penalty. I was referring more to the creativity used within the rules and that we've never been a team to push the envelope in that respect.
