lol if you say so

I don't even need to look to know you would've said the same dumb thing going into the 2015 season after he missed the 2014 season but put up 1300 in 2013.

Watch a Vikes game from this year. They make our line look like Dallas'.

If I said the same dumb thing then I'd like for you to find it, because I don't talk about players not relevant to the Panthers on this forum during the offseason. So I haven't and there will be nothing to find for you to find.

The fact that all of you are so excited about Adrian Peterson at 32 tells me how little you know about football. I'm not trying to be offensive or trying to be antagonistic, I'm just telling you how it is because if you knew anything about football history you would know That Father Time don't care who you are at and a running back at 32 is done.

Emmitt Smith the greatest running back in the history of the NFL didn't have another 1000 yard season after turning 31, and he played the vast majority of his career behind one of the best offensive lines in NFL history. And Peterson has barely had half the career that Smith has had.

He had 1,021 yards in his age 32 season. He had 3,189 more yards and 19 more tds 32 years and older.

I actually don't really care to have Peterson unless we fix our OL. I'm just saying if you stick him beyond a decent OL he's still capable of having another good to great year.

Genetically he's a freak. To write him off after the way he was able to come back in 2015 would be premature.

Will he be picked up absolutely. Will he be overpaid, most likely.  Will he contribute to a team in 2017-18 season I would bank on it.  For those saying individuals on here who get excited don't know jack about football, well that just assuming and we know where that ends.  AP is one of the greatest RBs in NFL history. Yes hes over 30 and yes he has had injuries in recent years.  Will the Panthers organization even give it a thought on AP, probably not.  But I will be sitting here in Huddle come November time when he is approaching double digit touchdowns.  If a team will use him and split time like Pats do with Blount, AP will make some team happy.  He will mostly likely need to go to a team planning on using him as their second option like Cowboys, Patriots, Giants, etc. You give a healthy AP 15 carries a game and combo him with the #1 back.  You just watch.

I don't see any reason we would pay him and Stewart, so would he be a that huge of an upgrade over Stewart if we were interested, and how much more would that upgrade cost us?  A guy that I would actually be interested in is Jamaal Charles.  there is a good chance he could become available.  He could fill that third down role and is a good pass catcher.  He would actually compliment Stewart well.  Considering he has been hurt the past few seasons it would probably be a really cheap gamble whereas I'm thinking AP might be an expensive gamble.
