Safety is a big need this offseason.. And there are many options to fill that need.. So this will have more options to choose from.  You can go the FA route with players like..

A. Cyprien- has reach his true potential yet will cost thoe..

B. Jefferson- Younger coming off a breakout season will cost..

C. Church- older player may cost less than the 1st 2..

D. Hyde - jack of all trades.. Maybe a master of none..

E. Draft - alot of talent in this years draft.. Will be a learning curve...

What is your choice...

Church , he is not that old (29) still has 3-4 yrs of prime left in him.

Pryor for our 7th.  Experience, huge upside, no bidding war required, doesn't go against comp pick formula, and only a $2.7 cap hit in 2017 w/5th year option to work with if we like him long term after 2017.  Cut bait if not.

Would allow PLENTY of cap space and draft capital to sign/trade for additional line help.

    • I knew very little about this player before we drafted him. When I read scouting reports about him I understood the pick and thought it made sense as a late round receiver with speed and special teams ability but after watching him more closely and now adding his interviews into the equation I'm actually really excited about him. I know it's just RMC but I noticed him running his routes with this extra step that really stood out to me during the general video posted earlier without realizing who it was doing that.  His speed in his first cut is just on another level and it's visible. When I saw it I was **** whoa, who was that?! Then I saw Horn JR. and my first thought was oh it's him. I think it's very possible that he was under appreciated going into the draft due to his height and stats because he played at Colorado where the attention was on 2 other players but I think this dude's ceiling is way higher than most think it is. Especially after watching his interview. He looks hungry. I may have found my fav rook for this year's pre-season. I like pulling for underdogs anyway and as someone who played on the small side myself it just gives me more reason to cheer for him. The competition at WR looks like it's going to be fierce this season. I honestly can remember any preseason where I looked at out wr group and got past 3 players who I thought were interesting but this season I'm interested in at least 5 who have my attention going into the season.
    • Wilson should be getting called for at least 3 penalties a night even in the post season. How does he not lead the NHL in PM???
