'Teams are more comfortable with Joe Mixon's off field than Dalvin Cook's" -@nfldraftscout on #NFLDraftLive right now

FSU starting running back Dalvin Cook has been suspended indefinitely after being charged with misdemeanor battery, making him the second Seminole to be charged in connection with striking  a woman in two weeks.

Cook was allegedly involved in an incident with a woman on June 23 outside of a Tallahassee bar, Clydes & Costellos, according to a heavily redacted incident report obtained by the Sentinel. The woman, according to a separate probable cause affidavit compiled by the Tallahassee Police Department, had bruises and abrasions after refusing to give her phone number or go home with an FSU football player.

A probable cause affidavit stated one unidentified man approached the woman for her phone number and spoke about taking her home with him. She declined, stating she had a boyfriend. The man and a group of friends identified as five to seven FSU football players, including Cook, began to get into a heated argument with her. She told investigators a person got too close to her and she pushed him away, prompting a man she later identified as Cook to punch her multiple times in the face

Which one?  Joe wasn't proven guilty of anything.  Cook was at Florida State so you know how they "wipe those under the rug" there with a quickness.

Referring to cook, yeah seems like a lot of charges got thrown out from that article. But if he's been trouble free the last couple years I could see teams looking past it

I think he got in trouble with some dogs for some poo as well.  Mixon besides the issue with the lady, has been fine since then.  So, yeah.  I can see why teams could think more negatively about Cook.

So it's OK to smash a girls face in on video but if you kneel in a nonviolent protest you get black balled?  The NFL, where outrage and morality are just slides on a marketing powerpoint presentation.

    • No poo tho you might could Jenkins for Legette. They got nothing at WR after the big 2 in Cincy. I don’t think you trade away OL depth. Could get a quality player in cuts. Really that 3-4 end spot what you should be looking for is someone who is stout with long arms and can push back the OL in both the run and pass game for others to make plays…. But we signed Wharton, sometimes I think Evero is a fraud ass nerd who should be an analyst at best.
    • you would honestly probably do Monroe Freeling more of a disservice by putting him in a position where is not yet ready to succeed. .we all knew Monroe Freeling struggled at the NFL combine in drills because of technique related issues & would need time to develop  & now all of a sudden before they even put the pads on Monroe Freeling is somehow a starting LT in the NFL ? if he struggled at the NFL scouting combine what do you actually think is going to happen in a live NFL game at LT ? .even our best LT of all time was not ready to start at LT when he was a rookie & he turned out to be a pretty good darn LT by the name of Jordan Gross ...just saying be patient Young Jedis
    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
