Bene looking to be in shape now. Rehab took longer than expected. 

 

 

Sure would have been nice to have him healthy this year. Cutting him for admitting he was winded against Julio Jones wasn't a good move.

Agreed. Seemed like a really knee jerk reaction to an embarrassingly awful game for the entire defense to just up and cut the guy.

Unless he was dogging it in rehab and/or practice, what might that message be?

Get hurt, work your ass off to come back, try your best to get out there ASAP because you're the only experienced vet CB on the roster then get cut for your efforts because we had an awful defensive game?

Maybe he was dogging it, I don't know. But if he wasn't, the only message it sent was that it was a dick move.

he didnt deserve to be a little scapegoat here. it was a brilliant strategy used by atlanta which we didnt counter properly
