There's a reason people are paid to be draft gurus and most of us are keyboard warriors.  CMC has been hyped up by lots of people for some good reasons beyond the "white hype" argument.

Cook is a very good football player, but the fumbles, the testing and the character issues make him a second round pick to me, a keyboard warrior.

The draft is not simply about the player, but its also about how well they fit NFL teams. Because CMC can do so much more than Cook (according to the pundit/scout class), he gets the higher arbitrary grade.
