We got speed everywhere. Beastly, and now Tac!

We are loaded, way to counter with McCaffery.

Takkarist McKinley, UCLA

At 6-foot-2 and 252 pounds with 34.75-inch arms, McKinley has the frame to be a weak-side edge defender for an NFL team. He possesses one of the best get-offs in this class, and his motor always runs hot.

Takk McKinley has special closing speed. Like real special.

However, he is an extremely stiff and linear player as well. McKinley struggles to carve the corner with his speed rushes, and he lacks the refined hand usage to soften the edge. He false steps out of his stance, and he lacks a lot in terms of fundamental technique. He routinely plays with poor pad level, which will cause him to get dominated at the point of attack in the NFL if he doesn’t fix it.

McKinley’s one saving grace is that he has the potential to be a speed-to-power rusher with an elite motor. However, when you add in the shoulder injury that may cause him to start the season on the physically unable to perform list, it would be hard to justify picking him before the third round, even though a team will certainly try.
