With Thor getting some new sidekicks what do you expect out of Olsen this coming season?

- Although Cam will distribute the ball more evenly this season , I expect to Olsen to have far more explosive plays.

- 1,200+ Yds 8 TDs

I actually don't think he will, I see Samuel and McCaffery taking a lot of touches away from him and everyone else.

Less rec but more explosive plays. 

With McCaffery coming out of the backfield  it will force defense to respect the underneath game, which will open the vertical game for Olsen & Others.

Fewer yards, more receptions and more TDs. He's the safety valve, first down marker mover and one of the redzone threats. Big plays will come from the young guns.

Not if we are truly evolving...i think his touches will decrease which will make it more difficult. Not because he can't get a 1000 yards but because he won't have the opportunity based on spreading the ball around more.

I think Olsen will get his, there will just be less missed opportunities from others, hopefully.

He will definitely get a 1000 because he will see a lot more 1 on 1 coverage. 

You can't account for Samuels speed in the slot, and McCaffreys speed elusiveness out of the backfield and continue to double cover Olsen. 

Olsen against 1 on 1 coverage is like crazy ass looking hats with feathers to Cam. He can't resist it. 

Therefore, people are going to start picking the lesser of all the evils.   Olsen will burn you, but CMC and Samuel with torch you and scatter the ashes...

If Olsen gets 1000 yards this season, then something will have gone wrong somewhere else. I will put him in the 800 yard range and maybe 8 TDs.

Not that he couldn't but I am predicting he gets 700 - 800 yards due to the additional options we now have.

Bad offense - 1000 yards (16)

Mediocre offense - 1000 yards (14)

Great offense - 1000 yards (15)

 

No matter what, Greg gets his.  You really want to tell the first TE in history with 3 consecutive 1000 yard seasons he can't do it again?
