Yeah, drops weren't an issue last year like they were his rookie year.

Effort most certainly was.

Definitely agree.

And I honestly think that the lack of effort was a byproduct of not really feeling comfortable coming back from the ACL.  It's well documented that you must get over the "mental hurdle" of trusting your knee again before you really are "back" from the injury.

I expect KB to come out motivated with something to prove this year.  A lack of effort this season will definitely be a major disappointment though, but with that being said, I don't expect that will be the case.

The best thing for KB is criticism. Hopefully it will motivate him to prove the naysayers wrong. After watched the poo show he displayed last year, I certainly have my doubts. I haven't even seen these free agents/draft picks play yet and I would speculate that Funchess, Shephard, Samuel would be more effective on the field than KB, Funchess, Samuel. He hasn't shown that he is a No 1 wideout in the NFL, and give piss poor effort on the field. He most certainly isn't "the  most Dominant player in the NFL outside the numbers"

    • Exactly.  You let him play out next season and continue to develop Thorton.  Jackson’s earned his next contract, but his age and the risk of tying up such a large portion of the payroll at one position leads me to believe that we’ll let him walk. In all likelihood, we’ll draft another CB, or two, and bring in some journeymen to fill the roster void, between now and the start of the 2027 season.  That’ll create more balance financially across the roster enabling us to invest in other areas.
    • As far as the NFCS … I think this division will be hotly contested the next couple of years.   I am tending to pay more respect to both Atlanta and the Saints n terms of how strong they will be moving forward, than not.    I am mixed on Ryan but think they have a decent roster to start with. I don’t think he blundered hiring Stefanski. And that offense can be dangerous with a QB. Plus, defense is arrow up. No 1st round pick, WB issues will dull their effectiveness. Question is, to what degree?   I think Moore is going to be a good HC and can overcome tape that people have on Shough. They need a lot but they were playing with people. Just the way you want to see all the way to the end.    Not sure about Tampa they have Mayfield but I don’t think they can maintain their success and Bowles is not going to last much longer. They have to go through all that. Gonna be tough once it starts. Might already have started.    For us I feel pretty good about Morgan. But less so about our offense, we have some short term RB and OL issues and those things are critical given what we are working with at QB.  Overall, mixed. Like a lot of what I see but some major question marks remain.
    • Absolutely. If we are talking about a 20 year old youngster. He's a grown-ass man, and he doesn't know what his job entails or how to do it? Maybe he will be better next year! It's the Panther way.
