People expressing outrage is fine, they give a sh!t and Jerry had better hope the fans still give one 3 years from now

Another one who was quick to call other fans idiots and other names when fans overreacted, but now it's "expressing outrage is fine." Boy, I tell ya...people are a trip and their whole attitudes change when it's a move they don't like. One minute it's, "things have gotten out of control on this site, as the inmates have taken over!" Now, it's "the outrage is fine."

Be consistent.

I have no problem with fans being emotional at anytime. This is a message board, and you're dealing with diehards of the team. It's expected. Be consistent, though. If you weren't for it in the past, don't be for it now. If you called others out for it in the past, then you need to be called out for it now

But You don't like when I show my emotions remember

Being angry and shocked is fine, but all of the ppl declaring they are done with the franchise and yada yada yada are going a bit far into the deep end of the melodrama pool.

It's the same people that were done when we drafted luke, double dipped at DT, cut Smitty, rescinded Norman.

They will still be around with the rest of us to complain about the next gm hire.

firing the best GM in team history at the height of our team's success a week before the most anticipated training camp in our team's history at the behest of an owner unqualified by his history to make those kinds of decisions is a catastrophic event in this team's history.

outrage is warranted.

Gettlemen was ok just as hurney both left something to be desired out rageous contracts and one running off talent with no depth. To me they both haven taken as much as given ..Whatever the situation was I feel it must have came to head and JR felt there was nothing else to do but fire him...We will survive just like survived the bad contracts, no receiver core, no lineman and rookie secondary...Gettlemen had help in picking the players that are currently here...some of that help is still here..The coaches are still here to coach those players up..We will be fine!

Hurney has a history with this team. Bad contracts and crappy drafting after round 1. That's why everyone is freaking out. The concern is that we will be back in the same situation after 2017 if he sticks around. Hopefully clear minds will prevail and not give him the check book.

2001 and 2010 were far, far worse.

Throw in that under Hurney, you generally had to wait a few years in-between good seasons (the last stretch being five years and the winning seasons coming only after he was replaced).

Gettleman's run was the most successful period in franchise history and there is absolutely no disputing that.

Hurney became GM in 2002.

Injuries derailed our 2004 and 2007 seasons. Steve Smith, Stephen Davis, Foster, Kris Jenkins in 2004 and Delhomme in 2007 (Delhomme was the hottest QB to begin that season). 2003-2008 was a better stretch. You can't blame injuries on 2014 and 2016.
