That made me remember how close we came to trading away the pick that became Cam Newton the year before. Hurney was that desperate, but league rules don't allow it.  He would have, too.

the entire point is that everyone sat by quietly as hurney walked into the building. And in the span of 24hrs we go from dynasty to Detroit lions. I accept however this plays it's course. I also accept the inaction when faced with the opportunity to do something 

I've seen you mention this on multiple threads now. When you say "everyone quietly sat by," are you implying that anyone could have done anything about it?
